I’ve been a coach for 5 years now, and I’ve specialised in female strength and powerlifting coaching for the past 2.5 years. I became a coach because I wanted to be part of removing the stigma associated with female weight training, to help people and to do something meaningful that I loved each day. The best part about the job is connecting with new clients, and consistently learning, whether that is structured education or experiencing new situations with clients.
I currently compete in the sport of powerlifting and have found that a disciplined, elite gymnastics career has helped with my love and diligence with training. I have placed 2 nd in Powerlifting Australia National Championships 2 years in row. I love powerlifting because there is such a huge focus on patience and self improvement, and this is something I aim to instil in my clients regardless of their training goals.
